Obituary of Rosemary Arber

It is with great sadness that we announce that Rosemary passed away suddenly on March 9th, 2023, at the age of 74 years. We will miss her terribly.

Rosemary Arber was known for her incredible generosity as a friend and family member who was always willing to provide a supportive ear. She was a very understanding person who could see all sides of things. Rosemary Arber held to her values of loyalty and kindness. Her strength of character was observed as she overcame and transformed health crises throughout her life. Rosemary had a wonderful sense of humour and loved spending time with her family, particularly her sisters and brothers. She loved animals and was devoted to many pets.

Rosemary is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Arber, from Creston, BC, and her daughter Crystal Arber (Naved Ali), from Vancouver, BC. Her sister Carole, from Sundre, AB, Linda from Calgary, AB, Renee from Kitchener, ON and Laura (Leonard Arcovio) of Nelson, BC. Rosemary brothers, Ronald Schauer (Lois) from Innisfail, AB, Gary Schauer (Erin) from Westbank, BC, James Schauer from Elk Point, AB, and her sister Anne Audet (Robert) from Ottawa, Ont. Leeroy Schauer, Gibbons AB. She is also survived by her aunts Marge Horne of Spokane, WA and Ginger Fulop of Clinton BC and many cousins nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, Irene and Victor Cillis, Calgary, AB, and her father, Norman Schauer, from Empress Saskatchewan; her uncles, Ellis, Charlie, and Joe Fulop from Creston, BC and her aunt Mary Horvath from Edmonton, AB.
